About the role
- Organise valid data for key stakeholders and build usable data marts and models
- Design, develop, and maintain the data warehouse stack including databases, tables, and views
- Build and manage ETL processes to integrate data from multiple source systems
- Optimise data models and ETL jobs for scalability and performance
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with BI developers and business stakeholders to align solutions with organisational needs
- Work with a team of three experienced data warehouse developers and five BI developers to increase business insight and create value
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining data warehouse solutions using SQL and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Proven ability to design and build data marts, dimensional models, and ETL workflows
- Experience in enterprise environments with large data volumes and complex integrations
- Familiarity with platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is a plus
- Familiarity with AI functionalities is a plus
- Experience with Qlik or other BI tools is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mature judgment
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, collaborative matrix environment with virtual, multi-cultural teams
- Strong command of spoken and written English; knowledge of German is a plus
- Valid work and residence permit required for non-EU applicants
