About the role
- Data Engineer developing and implementing data models and ETL/ELT processes. Working with cutting-edge technologies in a hybrid environment for innovative digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Identification and analysis of business/customer requirements
- Design and implementation of data models, data flows, and ETL/ELT processes (SSIS packages, Oracle packages)
- Use of state-of-the-art technologies, including cloud contexts such as Azure, MS SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDS), Oracle, Snowflake, Airflow, Databricks, and other components
- Creation of reports (SSRS, Power BI) and cubes (SSAS)
- Continuous optimization and harmonization of data flows and architecture
- Establishment and expansion of data quality processes
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, and Business Intelligence
- Deep expertise in data integration and data warehouse design/architecture
- Strong knowledge of SQL, SQL procedures, and implementation of ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with cloud and big data architectures
- University degree or completed vocational training in IT with relevant professional experience
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
- Very good communication skills in German (at least C1) and English
