Responsibilities

• Perform ETL processes (extract, transform, load);
• Work on data modeling, data mining, and segmentation techniques;
• Extract and prepare data from source systems into easy-to-use, usable formats;
• Build data pipelines, ensuring quality, performance, and sustainability/maintainability of the pipelines;
• Manage databases following best practices;
• Collaborate with different data roles (analysts, other engineers, data scientists, and business analysts);
• Participate in the Data Engineers Chapter, encouraging and promoting a data-driven culture across colleagues and operational teams;
• Maintain necessary documentation for deliverables;
• Continuously develop technical skills;

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, Economics, or related areas;
• Analytical thinking;
• Strong writing, synthesis, and communication skills;
• Knowledge and experience in the credit market;
• Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Spark, SQL, and SAS;
• Experience with Databricks for building and managing big data pipelines;
• Proficiency in data modeling techniques to design efficient data schemas;
• Intermediate English preferred;
