About the role
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of consumption data within the CMDB.
- Analyze and validate data to support reliable billing and service reporting.
- Develop and enhance data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide clear insights into consumption trends.
- Collaborate with Configuration Management, Finance, and IT Operations teams to align data processes and ensure consistency across systems.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data handling, automation, and governance.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and documentation for consumption data management.
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within IT, Service Management, or Configuration Management domains.
- Either a degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems / or related field/ OR equivalent working experience.
- Strong understanding of data management principles.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other analytical and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of consumption or billing data, and related business processes.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and configuration management best practices and CMDB structures are a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great analytical skills and orientation on detail.
