About the role

  • Develop and build complex prompts, applications, and agents to support customers using WRITER's Palmyra family of models
  • Create and optimize base prompts to supercharge customers’ content creation pipelines
  • Use linguistic expertise to craft search patterns enforcing customer formatting guidelines
  • Design, develop, and evaluate prompt chains for specific content creation tasks
  • Scope projects with Customer success stakeholders and customers and define best practices for created solutions
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering processes and outcomes
  • Collaborate with engineering to integrate prompt engineering work into the product
  • Ensure customer content aligns with their style and formatting requirements
  • Report initially to the VP of Technical Delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer science, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Solid coding proficiency using Python
  • Professional experience in prompt design and a deep understanding of linguistic principles
  • Expertise working with search patterns for morphology and word patterns
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and evaluating base prompts
  • Knowledge of natural language processing and machine learning concepts is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and a passion for working on complex challenges
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Legally authorized to work in the country in which the job is located (application asks)
  • Located within 50 miles of an office hub or willing to relocate; able and excited to join in-person collaborative working sessions in office 2-3 days/week
