Lead a team of approximately 10 Application Engineers at HBS Germany.
Support the team through hands-on engineering activities.
Provide coaching, mentoring and networking to promote best practices among project engineers on-site and across the HBS Germany region.
Guide and support technical planning, solution development, design verification, and provide support to Honeywell Building Solutions Germany’s project, service and sales teams to ensure optimal technical solutions.
Implement, advocate for, and continuously audit standard engineering processes, libraries and tools.
Assist in identifying regional training needs and in developing and delivering tailored technical training courses to enhance technical and product knowledge and skills.
Provide input and feedback to the DACH engineering team as needed.
Provide technical advice and validation of custom technical system designs.
Support customer and product demonstrations for sales and product management.
Ensure resource planning and deployment of the GE engineering team’s personnel.
Coordinate technical support for project teams as required.
Conduct technical risk reviews when required as part of the sales approval process.
Requirements
Degree in engineering and/or at least 10 years of engineering experience in the relevant disciplines.
Green Belt certification (preferred).
German – native; English – good proficiency (at least B2 level).
Engineering leadership experience; experience in change management.
Knowledge of Honeywell product offerings and solutions in HVAC, automation, visualization and security systems.
Strong project management skills.
Experience developing technical solutions and in problem solving and process change/improvement.
