About the role
- Corporate Legal Counsel providing hands-on, business-oriented legal advice across Sol-Millennium's global operations. Focused on contracts, governance, and compliance matters in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and transactional agreements including sales agreements, vendor contracts, MSAs, NDAs, and SaaS agreements.
- Provide practical, business-minded legal advice that supports commercial objectives while ensuring compliance.
- Strategically and cost-effectively manage and partner with outside counsel.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Commercial, Operations) to align legal solutions with business priorities.
- Support corporate governance matters, including board resolutions and entity compliance.
- Assist with transactional work such as M&A diligence, restructuring efforts, and strategic projects.
- Advise on intellectual property matters including trademarks and licensing.
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and proactively communicate potential impacts to the business.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the ABA.
- Member of a state bar in good standing.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and to navigate ambiguity with ease.
- Strong background in transactional and commercial contracts, with demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate.
- Experience interacting with or coordinating external counsel across global regions (APAC experience strongly preferred).
- Comfortable balancing competing priorities and working across time zones.
