About the role

  • Deliver timely, accurate and practical international VAT advice and assistance to clients
  • Prepare advice to clients, supervising work delegated to junior colleagues
  • Organise workloads and prioritise issues with junior colleagues
  • Provide regular feedback to junior colleagues
  • Participate in calls and meetings with clients
  • Maintain close relationships with existing clients
  • Liaise with third parties, including tax authorities and suppliers
  • Write articles to be published on the company’s website or external journals
  • Research changes to legislation and administrative practice
  • Prepare client fee quotes and client invoices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Law, Management or Economics
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Professional experience of at least 3 years in a VAT advisory role, preferably with an international/cross-border focus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
