The Compliance Capacity Specialist supports the Carrier Compliance Manager and the broader Compliance team by managing key compliance functions that ensure carrier qualifications and authority align with regulatory and internal standards.
This role is responsible for onboarding new carriers, maintaining carrier profiles and compliance systems, proactively responding to and resolving real-time alerts, continuously reviewing changes within the carrier network, reviewing DOT inspection history, and ensuring up-to-date insurance compliance.
The position plays a vital role in creating processes and SOPs, working with carrier reps to mitigate risks to support the company’s operational goals through reliable and repeatable compliance practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business, or compliance-related fields.
2+ years of experience in carrier compliance or transportation industry operations.
In-depth knowledge of FMCSA regulations, insurance requirements, and carrier onboarding practices.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and compliance/monitoring platforms.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
