About the role

  • Assist attorneys with comprehensive case preparation.
  • Draft, review, and proofread pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence.
  • Organize and manage case files, exhibits, and evidence.
  • Conduct factual and legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Manage and analyze large volumes of documents, including e-discovery.
  • Coordinate and assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Maintain and track critical deadlines, court filings, and case calendars.
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare trial binders, witness files, and exhibits for court proceedings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with a preference for commercial litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
  • Experience with cite-checking is required; appeals experience is a significant plus.
  • Proficiency with e-discovery platforms and case management software.
  • Experience managing people or providing paralegal administrative oversight is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
