About the role
- Cloud Security Engineer enhancing cloud security for Five9's infrastructure. Collaborating with teams to mitigate security risks, ensuring resilience against threats.
Responsibilities
- Build automation, policy-as-code, and security guardrails
- Create automation for the detection of misconfigurations
- Develop automated response capabilities to cloud misconfigurations
- Create custom controls in Wiz to detect existing misconfigurations and create tickets for remediation
- Implement IAM configurations through Terraform
- Ensure all solutions are under configuration management and deployed through CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security
- Experience with implementing guardrails and policy-as-code
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, with GCP preferred
- Terraform and Python experience
- Experience with CI/CD deployments, preferably in GitLab
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across teams
- Strong understanding of security principles and cloud platform hardening
