About the role
- Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer building automated and scalable cloud systems for a construction technology startup. Collaborate with engineers to enhance development workflows and security practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to speed up development and deployment.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) that is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune systems to ensure performance and reliability.
- Partner with software engineers to create deployment strategies and workflows that boost productivity.
- Drive security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
- Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes).
- Improve logging, monitoring, and alerting (ELK, Datadog, or similar).
Requirements
- 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure role.
- Hands-on with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
- Strong with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Containerization skills (Docker, ECS; Kubernetes a plus).
- Knowledge of system performance, databases (SQL/NoSQL), networking, and security.
