About the role
- Expert Cloud and Software Architecture Consultant focusing on Property and Casualty Insurance at Beneva. Leading software architecture initiatives and cloud-first strategies with collaborative teams.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject-matter expert for all software aspects within the business area
- Support the software architects in the business area to ensure correct application of Beneva’s architecture framework
- Serve as the software representative for the business area at the enterprise level to escalate issues and obtain validation for technology and architecture decisions
- Act as a leader and facilitator with the management of the business area
- Align and coordinate with enterprise architecture
- Contribute to the development and optimization of software engineering processes, involving industrialization and cloud concepts, supported by Agile approaches (DevOps)
- Provide guidance and coaching to teams within the business area
- Promote Beneva’s cloud-first strategy by integrating AWS platform services into architectures
- Participate in various strategic committees as a software expert advisor
- Lead initiatives within the business area to define or validate new architectures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10 years of development experience, including at least 5 years as an architect or technical lead
- Experience in large-scale projects involving modern IT and cloud technologies, particularly platform and application integration
- Experience delivering projects in Agile mode and strong knowledge of Agile practices (SAFe) and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written, with functional proficiency in English, both spoken and written
