  • Context
  • In the context of rapid expansion of our Retail & Omnichannel solutions, Payplug is strengthening its Alliances & Partnerships team with a Channel Manager. Your mission: to develop and animate an ecosystem of strategic partners in the Retail sector (POS integrators, ISVs, maintenance providers, distributors, OMS vendors, etc.) to accelerate distribution and adoption of our payment solutions.
  • The success of this vertical — in terms of distribution, lead generation, partner influence and product innovation — will be key and at the center of our Alliances strategy. Within Payplug’s commercial teams, you will be responsible for recruiting and managing a network of commercial and technical partners, creating innovative retail payment offers, and generating opportunities for the salesforce.
  • Your responsibilities
  • 1. Distribution network development
  • Identify, recruit and manage key partners across the Retail & Omnichannel ecosystem: vendors (POS, ERP, OMS), retail maintenance providers and integrators, specialized distributors (retail hardware/software)
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and define commercial models (resellers, integrators, referral, co‑selling, etc.)
  • Help implement a structured Channel program (onboarding, incentives, support, performance monitoring)
  • 2. Commercial engagement and business development
  • Set and track quantitative targets for indirect revenue generated via the partner network
  • Co‑build joint commercial action plans with partners (campaigns, trade shows, trainings, webinars, etc.)
  • Maintain regular follow‑up of channel-sourced opportunities (pipeline, forecast, conversion rates)
  • 3. Innovation and partner solution integration
  • Identify product synergies and integration opportunities (POS, OMS, omnichannel management, maintenance, etc.) and contribute to designing combined offers (hardware + software + payment bundles)
  • Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to facilitate implementation of simple integrations or API integrations
  • 4. Monitoring and reporting
  • Track partner performance using KPIs (revenue generated, leads, satisfaction)
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence (RetailTech, omnichannel, connected payments)

Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ experience in partnerships or indirect sales within a B2B SaaS environment; experience in payments is a plus
  • Strong affinity for new technologies, particularly Fintech
  • Ability to work autonomously in managing your prospecting portfolio
  • Demonstrated leadership, able to involve the necessary colleagues in partner project success
  • Proactive, curious and energetic mindset
