About the role

• Business Systems Analyst supporting Dexcom's Customer Advocacy team by driving automation initiatives. Analyzing business challenges and translating them into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into scalable, automated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Identify gaps in systems and processes and define functional specifications and business requirements to drive automation initiatives.
• Configure and optimize system settings to support evolving business needs and ensure seamless integration across platforms.
• Design and document the architecture and functionality of automated systems, including Complaint Handling Systems, Data Investigation Automations, and Robotic Process Automations.
• Develop and execute test scripts for system validation using tools such as ValGenesis, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.
• Lead unit, integration, and acceptance testing efforts to validate automated solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements, develop business cases and user stories, and provide consultative support for adoption of automated tools.
• Investigate and resolve system defects, ensuring data accuracy and process integrity across all automated workflows.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, publish status reports, and recommend actions to keep automation initiatives on track.
• Maintain and update system protocols and procedures to reflect evolving automation strategies.
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data trends and system performance metrics.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
• Support special projects aimed at improving commercial performance and expanding Dexcom’s Customer Advocacy capabilities through automation.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.
• You have hands-on experience designing and validating automated workflows, including Complaint Handling Systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and data investigation tools.
• You approach problems methodically, using data to inform decisions and ensure accuracy across systems and processes.
• You’re comfortable configuring system settings, writing test scripts, and using validation platforms like ValGenesis to ensure compliance and performance.
• You communicate effectively across teams, translating business needs into functional requirements and supporting users through adoption and change.
• You proactively identify opportunities to optimize systems, reduce manual effort, and enhance the customer experience through automation.
