Responsibilities
Supporting our sales teams as the go-to resource for Network Security opportunities and conversations with customers.
Building your knowledge and confidence in Network Security solutions so you can bring insight to both colleagues and clients.
Owning a sales and GP target and working towards agreed KPIs, with regular tracking and reporting.
Partnering with marketing to create and deliver tailored campaigns that generate new opportunities.
Working closely with leading Network Security vendors to maximise resources, joint planning, and business growth.
Acting as the link between customers and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Organising and running vendor days, events, and enablement sessions to promote our security offering.
Helping to train and onboard new starters in the basics of Network Security.
Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within our existing customer base.
Keeping shared product and vendor information up-to-date and accessible for the wider team.
Attending regular reviews with management and vendor partners to agree objectives and track progress.
Running reports, following up on orders, and chasing opportunities to maximise results.
Requirements
1–3 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management
A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to identify and create new opportunities
Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Confident in running sales campaigns and following up to drive pipeline growth
Strong communication and presentation skills, both face-to-face and over the phone/online
Comfortable working to targets and KPIs with a sales-first mindset
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities at once
Commercially aware and able to understand how to maximise opportunities for growth
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn new technologies and markets
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot)
