About the role

  • You will play a critical role in defining and enabling business change. Acting as the conduit between IT teams and the business, you will understand the functional business needs and how these relate to the business’ overall objectives.
  • Create the business readiness plan, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and any business activities required to integrate new digital processes into the business as usual environment.
  • Outline the key business engagement messages that need to be communicated throughout the project.
  • Monitor and report progress on business readiness targets, business engagement activity, training design and deployment activities.
  • Work alongside colleagues in IT Service Management, Infrastructure and Security, reporting into the Programme Manager and allocated to the education case management transformation programme.

Requirements

  • Experienced Business Analyst in a project or programme environment
  • Proven record of influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas, concepts and technical details to non-technical stakeholders
  • Effectively collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Ability to adjust to new challenges quickly, sometimes managing multiple areas of focus simultaneously
  • Must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English (legal requirement under Immigration Act 2016 for customer facing role)
