About the role
- Resident in Counseling managing caseloads of families while providing mental health services. Join Strategic Therapy Associates to help adolescents and families using Brief Strategic Family Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 8-10 families (ages 6-18), diverted from family court.
- Provide home, office, and telehealth mental health services.
- Be flexible: evening, weekend, and holiday availability is a must.
- Complete all documentation to standards.
- Collaborate with support services and participate in supervision.
Requirements
- Virginia-registered Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S), or eligible to register
- QMHP-C with 5+ years experience working with children and families also considered
- Valid driver's license, insurance, own vehicle, and good driving record
- Passion for serving youth/families, strong communication, and a focus on outcomes
