About the role
- Licensed Bilingual Speech Therapist conducting hybrid assessments for special education eligibility. Join the CSES evaluation team providing comprehensive evaluations to school districts in Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Complete special education assessment of early childhood, elementary, and high school students within your geographical area.
- Write assessment reports within 10 days of evaluation.
- Attend eligibility meetings virtually, as requested by districts and according to your schedule.
- Maintaining excellent records (protocols, notes, teacher /parent input interview if applicable)
Requirements
- Active state license for practicing speech therapy
- PEL preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Self-starter and works well independently and with others
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive
- Ability to travel within 1 hour of home
