About the role

• Bilingual Learning Facilitator at Sun Life creating and delivering training programs to associates. Facilitating learner-centric training sessions virtually and in person while managing group dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world class learning to the Sun Life standard expected.
• Facilitate and support learner-centric training programs to multiple audiences, in multiple locations.
• Manage new hire groups of up to 20 learners per session.
• Adjust facilitation approach “in the moment” to meet learner needs/styles while continuing to drive program objectives.
• Engage learners through discussion / questioning / visual aids / tools / activities.
• Qualitatively assessing and documenting learning and knowledge transfer, as well as absences and behavioral observations for both in-class and virtual learners.
• Collaborate with the Design team to create/maintain detailed facilitator guides for all delivered programs.
• Coordinate all aspects of learning delivery.

Requirements

• Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required as the incumbent will be responsible for creating and delivering training to employees and/or English and French-speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
• College Diploma or University Degree coupled with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Facilitation role.
• Certification in Adult Education which could include a Bachelor of Education Degree or a College Certification.
• Strong ability to present information, provide instruction and direction to manage learners.
• Proven virtual facilitation skills that can engage online learners.
• Strong technical skills and experience with learning and facilitation software.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, proof reading skills and documentation skills.
