About the role
- Diseñar servicios escalables y resilientes que habiliten el crecimiento de Woki con baja latencia y alta disponibilidad
- Diseñar y evolucionar APIs y flujos event‑driven (Node.js)
- Escalar la plataforma de datos (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse/TimeScale) garantizando consistencia y rendimiento
- Elevar la observabilidad y la fiabilidad (SLOs, alerting, tracing distribuido)
- Proponer mejoras de arquitectura que reduzcan latencia, costo y complejidad
- Colaboración en squad: feedback honesto, pairing y decisiones compartidas con Product, Design y Data
- Ownership extremo: cada ingeniero es dueño del ciclo completo de sus entregas
Requirements
- 4+ años construyendo software en producción (startups o SaaS es un plus)
- Dominio de JavaScript/TypeScript y Git
- Conocimientos sólidos de bases de datos relacionales y no‑relacionales
- Node.js o Go con patrones clean / hexagonal
- Profundo conocimiento de SQL/NoSQL y performance tuning
- Servicios cloud‑native (AWS/GCP), contenedores y serverless
- Instrumentación con OpenTelemetry, Datadog/Grafana
- Comunicación clara, pensamiento crítico y proactividad para proponer mejoras
