About the role
- Cloud Architect optimizing Azure infrastructure for a finance sector client with significant inhouse IT modernization efforts. Focused on scalability, security, and regulatory compliance in cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- You develop and optimize cloud infrastructure in Azure with a focus on scalability, security and performance.
- Technical implementation: from container orchestration and serverless computing to DevOps pipelines — you bring new technologies into practice.
- You work closely with our governance experts to align technical and regulatory requirements optimally.
- You advise business units on planning and implementing cloud solutions.
- You handle the complex requirements of regulated industries and implement standards such as BAIT or other (KRITIS) regulations.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer or in a comparable technical role.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, PaaS and Azure DevOps.
- Ideally experience with compliance and security requirements in regulated industries such as banking (BAIT) or other KRITIS organizations.
- Very good understanding of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD tooling (preferably GitHub).
- Team player: you enjoy working closely with other experts and bringing technical and strategic requirements into alignment.
- Passion for technology: major challenges in a dynamic environment are a driver for you, not a burden.
