As an Automation Intelligence Engineer in Battery Analytics, you design and optimize test-data ecosystems that automate all test stands, analyze test results in real time—including with AI—and visualize them in audit-proof, traceable, and easy-to-understand dashboards.
Full responsibility for the automation architecture in testing: you develop databases and automation scripts that support our test-field colleagues from cell receipt to data storage, consistently reducing manual steps.
Implementing and maintaining AI-based analysis pipelines: you decide which models are appropriate where so that faults can be detected as quickly as possible and our reports automatically include a wide range of insights.
Structuring reporting and traceability: you build automated dashboards that serve as a basis for decision-making both internally and externally.
Data governance: you ensure that data is reliably and accurately available, that a consistent data foundation is maintained, and that regulatory, legal, and industry-specific requirements are met.
Requirements
You hold a degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Ideally, you have experience analyzing large datasets and working with databases, statistical, or visualization tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
You are familiar with battery or testing systems—or are motivated to quickly learn about this area.
You have knowledge of software development (backend/frontend), test automation, and CI/CD environments (e.g. Docker).
You work independently and in a structured way and enjoy presenting complex technical relationships clearly.
Benefits
Flexible work, focused delivery: freedom in day-to-day organization, responsibility for results.
Performance matters: we invest in people who deliver—with strong benefits and real development opportunities.
Think ahead: employee savings contributions (vermögenswirksame Leistungen) and retirement provisions for those shaping the future.
Energy that drives you: subsidized vegetarian meals in the V-Lounge—healthy and convenient.
Mobility with purpose: charge your electric car with on-site PV power, use JobRad or our company car-sharing—sustainability as a core value.
