About the role

  • Lead and continuously improve global third-party due diligence and risk management practices
  • Proactively advance how risks are identified, assessed, and monitored across functions and geographies
  • Oversee due diligence activities for new and existing suppliers – covering compliance, financial stability, ethics, data privacy, and GxP requirements
  • Ensure strong documentation, audit readiness, and alignment with corporate and regulatory standards
  • Maintain and strengthen vendor risk management practices through proactive review and monitoring
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks related to data security, compliance, and supply continuity
  • Lead Genmab’s vendor ESG and sustainability agenda, integrating sustainability into vendor assessment and decision-making
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Quality, Finance, and IT Security to ensure cohesive and transparent approach to third-party risk
  • Represent Procurement in relevant internal governance forums and reviews
  • Lead and develop a small, high-performance team of two professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in procurement, compliance, or vendor risk management, ideally within biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience leading or improving third-party due diligence and risk management processes
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (FCPA, GDPR, GxP, ESG reporting)
  • Experience with risk or sustainability assessment tools is an advantage
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance compliance and agility in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, skilled at building cross-functional relationships
  • A pragmatic leader who thrives in a lean, high-performing environment
