About the role
- Assistant Accountant working in Group Finance at IVC Evidensia, supporting financial operations for veterinary services across Europe and North America.
Responsibilities
- Working in Group Finance, reporting to the Senior Group Accountant (Holding Company)
- Capturing and assisting with the maintenance of the Group transfer pricing recharges
- Ownership of the Holding company banking functions
- Seeking data, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Reporting on holding company transactions to stakeholders
- Updating the Group transfer pricing recharge model for Group SOC costs
- Preparation of journals and accurate accounting for the Group quarterly transfer pricing recharge
- Full reconciliation of quarterly transfer pricing recharge across the IVCE Group
- Supporting on annual transfer pricing interviews
- Bank postings for x5 IVCE Holding Companies daily
- Bank reconciliations
- Setting up of manual bank payments for external loans
- Working closely with the RTR team to ensure Group Care Fund postings made accurately monthly
Requirements
- In the early stages of obtaining ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent)
- Experience in and a good understanding of double entry accounting
- Strong business knowledge and commercial acumen
- Strong interpersonal skills with a confident, enthusiastic attitude and a proactive approach to accountancy
- Excellent analytical skills (Excel, Power BI) with the ability to convert complex data into useful information
- Excellent communication skills, incorporating written, verbal, presentation, and reporting at all levels
