About the role
- Application Engineer assisting customers with AI-driven hardware design solutions. Collaborating with engineers to validate and optimize design workflows through our AI assistant.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to run their design test cases through our AI assistant.
- Collaborate with customers’ hardware engineers to interpret results, provide insights, and recommend workflows.
- Document use cases, best practices, and lessons learned for internal and customer-facing knowledge bases.
- Provide feedback to the product and engineering teams to improve features, accuracy, and user experience.
- Support customer onboarding, training, and integration of the AI assistant into existing design processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years experience working in hardware design, simulation, or engineering workflows.
- Strong ability to communicate technical results clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with engineering tools (CAD, simulation software, etc.).
- Background in thermal problems (e.g., heat transfer, cooling strategies, thermal analysis).
- Experience working in customer-facing roles (applications engineering, solutions engineering, field engineering, or technical consulting).
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows.
