Responsibilities
As an Analyst Microservices Developer, you will be an integral part of the CIO Technology Engineering team, supporting the development and maintenance of microservices-based applications.
You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leads to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that meet business needs.
This role is designed to help you build foundational skills in microservices development, agile delivery, and DevOps practices.
You will contribute to coding tasks, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, while learning how to apply engineering standards and best practices.
You will be encouraged to ask questions, seek feedback, and actively participate in team discussions.
Through mentorship and hands-on experience, you will grow your technical capabilities and understanding of the wider system landscape, preparing you for progression within the engineering career path.
Requirements
Experience in software development, ideally with exposure to Java and microservices concepts.
Understanding of agile delivery principles, with some experience working in agile teams or academic projects.
Willingness to learn and apply engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, and version control.
Ability to follow technical guidance and contribute to team goals with growing autonomy.
