About the role
- Identify AI potentials and initiate pilot projects at VDI Wissensforum in Düsseldorf. Analyze processes and support AI tool implementations for efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Identify AI opportunities & initiate pilot projects: Identify use cases for AI to increase efficiency, improve quality, and enhance customer centricity.
- Analyze processes & design changes: Analyze existing business processes and develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
- Support implementation: Assist with the rollout of new tools and AI solutions together with business units and external IT service providers.
- Drive innovation & explore new business areas: Develop new data-driven services or business models with a view to future market opportunities.
- Monitor trends & measure success: Analyze current trends in digitalization and AI, assess their relevance, and derive recommendations for action.
Requirements
- Completed degree, e.g., in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration (with a technical/analytical focus), Data Science, or a comparable field.
- Relevant professional experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes, ideally complemented by demonstrable experience designing or applying AI solutions in a corporate environment.
- Process know-how: Strong understanding of complex business processes and value chains, ideally gained in the continuing education, events, or service sector.
- AI understanding: Solid grasp of core AI concepts (e.g., Machine Learning, RPA, Generative AI) and their practical applications for process optimization and business development.
- Analytical & strategic strength: Excellent analytical skills, a structured and results-oriented way of working, and strategic thinking ability.
- Communication & teamwork: Strong communicator, able to present complex topics clearly (also to non-experts), and enjoy working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.
