About the role
- Design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions that drive innovation and efficiency
- Architect and develop AI-powered services, tools, and products ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Lead end-to-end project execution from initial concept and design through development, testing, and deployment
- Build and integrate AI models using Azure OpenAI and other Azure AI Services, applying best practices in model training, fine-tuning, and production deployment
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and work with both open-source and proprietary LLMs
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to translate business needs into clear technical specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality, CI/CD, and version control (Git/Azure DevOps)
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing systems
- Work independently and within global teams, contributing to a collaborative and innovative environment while managing tasks with minimal supervision
- Work onsite two days per week in the specified city
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related fields
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience in ML libraries and UI development using Streamlit or JavaScript frameworks
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Azure DevOps workflows
- Experience working with both open-source and proprietary LLMs, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) implementations
- Knowledge of secure API/web service development and data protection best practices
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working across teams and time zones
- Candidates ideally located in Bangalore or Pune; flexibility to consider Hyderabad or Chennai
- Willingness to work onsite two days per week
- Self-starter; able to work independently and within global teams
