About the role
- Accounts Associate coordinating finance processes at Affinity Global GmbH, supporting daily operations with international teams and client communications.
Responsibilities
- You communicate confidently in English and German and support daily collaboration with local service providers, clients, and internal international teams.
- You process incoming invoices reliably and document expenses and cash transactions carefully.
- You coordinate queries with employees and relevant interfaces to resolve issues related to our offshore finance processes promptly.
- You ensure that all financial records are properly and audit-ready documented.
- You assist with the preparation and sending of client invoices, manage dunning/collections, and reconcile incoming payments.
- You work closely with the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, particularly during month-end and year-end closings.
Requirements
- Native-level or near-native English and very good German skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong organizational skills and good time management to handle multiple open items simultaneously and drive them to completion.
- A confident, professional manner when working with different teams, clients, and service providers.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with accounting systems is an advantage.
- A proactive, solution-oriented work style and willingness to take responsibility and support the team flexibly.
- Some practical experience in accounting (e.g., through internships or working-student positions), especially in accounts payable/accounts receivable, is a plus.
- A trustworthy, detail-oriented personality with high standards for accuracy and compliance.
- Basic knowledge of VAT regulations in Europe is desirable.
