About the role

  • Play a pivotal role in business planning, providing insights that drive decisions and guide critical transitions
  • Engage with clients to understand their challenges and offer solutions, including assistance with SME tools (Xero, MYOB and Excel)
  • Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain regular communication
  • Prepare a variety of financial deliverables, including management accounts, cash flow forecasts, GSTs and FBTs
  • Effectively manage time and prioritise deliverables by communicating with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist with larger assignments under the guidance of senior team members
  • Participate in team dynamics and contribute to knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 2+ years' of experience relevant to the role
  • Your CA qualification, or working towards this
  • Experience in preparation of financial statements through to completion
  • Experience in management accounting
  • Experience preparing GST returns
  • Experience with SME tools such as Xero, MYOB and Excel
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset dedicated to driving business growth and innovation
  • Strong relationship building and communications skills
