About the role
- Sr. API Developer working with MuleSoft and Azure integration solutions for Zurich North America. Developing APIs and leading technical projects related to software applications and integration.
Responsibilities
- work with MuleSoft or Azure platform components
- understand Zurich’s business/application needs
- developing APIs using MuleSoft platform components including API Manager, Cloud Hub, Anypoint Studio and Anypoint MQ
- testing and improving performance of the APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage
- troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs
- serve as technical lead on projects to design, develop, test, document, and deploy robust integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development area
- 4 years of experience working with MuleSoft API development and cloud hub and RTF environments
- service design using RAML (with JSON) and ODATA
- Azure API development experience preferred
- Integration Architecture concepts, principles, and patterns to design API, Service Oriented Architecture, Batch Integration, and RESTful JSON services
- cloud-based technologies and integration to technologies hosted in Azure
- Experience in MCP Server, MuleSoft Agent Fabrics, and AI Gateway will be highly preferred
- MuleSoft Developer certification is highly preferred
