SPS Programmer responsible for automation projects and PLC programming at Zeppelin Systems GmbH. Collaborating on HMI visualizations and control software testing.
Responsibilities
Execution of automation projects with a focus on PLC programming
Developing plant and process visualizations (HMI/PC)
Defining operation and monitoring concepts in close coordination with hardware planning
Software development according to functional and process-technical specifications, taking into account applicable guidelines and regulations
Testing, optimizing and verifying control software
Supporting the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
Performing commissioning activities and customer training
Reviewing, revising and archiving PLC software and documentation after commissioning and project completion
Requirements
Degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or vocational training as an automation technician with relevant professional experience
Several years of experience in PLC programming and managing automation projects
Strong knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC systems, including VISU visualization software for operation and monitoring
Experience programming with STEP 7 and TIA Portal (AWL/STL, SCL, FBD/LAD)
Know-how in fieldbus technologies (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus)
Experience developing custom software components is an advantage
System and programming knowledge of other manufacturers such as Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Schneider, etc., as well as other programming languages (C, C++)
Willingness to travel for commissioning
Good knowledge of MS Office
Very good German and English skills
