About the role

• Senior Fullstack Engineer developing innovative solutions for complex business challenges in Media Tech. Collaborating within a diverse engineering team in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in AI-assisted development, leveraging tools to streamline coding, testing, and problem-solving, while mentoring others in their effective use.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance full stack applications using React on the frontend and Ruby or Python on the backend.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, and manage search and analytics using OpenSearch.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Leverage AWS to manage, maintain, and integrate applications and services, demonstrating strong proficiency in cloud-based workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with product owners, designers, and engineers within a hybrid Agile environment.
• Be given priority consideration for permanent team membership as the company grows or when future opportunities arise.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer, working with React on the frontend and Ruby or Python on the backend.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows, a proven track record of delivering maintainable software, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
