About the role

  • Creative Director leading Zapp's creative identity across all brand touchpoints. Responsible for establishing creative vision and managing teams within a premium lifestyle brand.

Responsibilities

  • Define, own, and continuously evolve Zapp's overarching creative vision, ensuring it authentically reflects the brand's premium positioning and resonates across all markets.
  • Serve as the ultimate brand guardian, setting the standard for creative excellence across all output- digital, physical, editorial, and experiential.
  • Present and champion creative strategy to the Founder's Office, Executive Leadership Team, and key external stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce brand guidelines, visual identity standards, and tone of voice across the entire organisation.
  • Set clear creative briefs, manage workloads, and ensure consistently high-quality output is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Build and develop the creative function as Zapp scales, including hiring and structuring the team for future growth.
  • Lead the creative development of integrated marketing campaigns across digital display, social media, email (CRM), print, and OOH.
  • Direct the production of premium social content for Instagram, TikTok, and other key channels, ensuring creative output consistently drives brand affinity and engagement.
  • Oversee the creative direction of influencer partnerships, seasonal campaigns, and brand-building activations from concept through to execution.
  • Direct the creative vision for Zapp's company events, VIP engagement initiatives, and experiential activations, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the premium nature of the brand.
  • Oversee the design of physical assets, digital invitations, and event environments that create memorable brand experiences.
  • Provide senior creative direction to the growth and product teams, overseeing the design of promotional banners, icons, and in-app visuals that enhance the user journey.
  • Ensure digital creative assets are optimised across platforms, maintaining brand integrity whilst meeting performance requirements.
  • Oversee the management of Zapp's creative asset library, ensuring efficient organisation, version control, and accessibility of templates and brand elements across the business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative design or art direction, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior creative leadership role, preferably within a B2C, e-commerce, luxury, or premium lifestyle brand.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated, elevated aesthetic, strong conceptual thinking, and the ability to direct campaigns across multiple channels and formats.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, visual storytelling, and how creative drives commercial outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the gravitas to influence and inspire at senior leadership level.
  • Strong understanding of digital production, print processes, and export best practices across all formats.
