Responsibilities
Involved in application of general design practices.
Will select and recommend procedures in design and lead a team to implement those design for installation.
Performs non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of various scopes.
Lead shall have the ability to select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, and coordinates the work with the project team.
Reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical requirements and design approaches.
Review work for technical adequacy and satisfaction of requirements.
Provide field support including field verifications for retrofit applications, as-built documentation, on-site procurement and installation supervision.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college.
Minimum of 4 years of electrical engineering design experience on Power and/or Industrial Projects.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, IEEE/ANSI Standards and NEMA Standards.
Experience with Medium and Low Voltage Equipment and Cables.
Must be able to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with Senior Company Leadership.
Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments as necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
**Preferred Requirements**
Professional Engineering License with the ability to obtain licensure in other states within the US.
Lead Electrical Engineer on Engineer, Procure and Construct Projects.
4-7 years of electrical engineering design experience on Power and/or Industrial Projects.
Experience with SKM software for Electrical System Analysis.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code preferred.
