About the role
- AI Engineer responsible for developing AI solutions at a leading European software provider. Collaborates with teams to enhance client experiences and optimize internal processes.
Responsibilities
- Development, implementation and optimization of AI agents and intelligent software components — from concept to go-live
- Building AI-powered tools and platforms that improve internal processes, customer experiences, or knowledge management systems
- Close collaboration with existing software development teams and business units to integrate AI components into current applications and systems
- Evaluation and selection of suitable frameworks, APIs and models (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) for different use cases
- Support in architecture planning and integration of AI solutions into cloud environments and microservice architectures
- Research and prototyping of new AI approaches (e.g., agent frameworks, LLM-based automations, data pipelines)
Requirements
- 1–3 years of practical experience with modern AI technologies
- Solid knowledge of Python and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack or similar AI agent libraries
- Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or C#)
- Basic understanding of software architectures and interfaces (APIs, microservices, cloud environments)
- Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.) and integrating them into existing systems
- Familiarity with API development, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data pipelines
- Initial hands-on experience building AI agent platforms, e.g., for customer service, process automation or knowledge management
