About the role
- Project Manager coordinating water solutions projects to exceed client expectations. Leading teams to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution while managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
- Oversee all aspects of projects
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project
- Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with the contractual scope of work sold
- Manage multiple equipment design projects with values in the range of $50,000 - $150,000
- Function as primary, external customer contact on assigned projects, with focus on customer service
- Identify risks and change opportunities and negotiate change orders with guidance from supervisor
- Monitor and maintain a project budget for each project managed including labor and materials
- Provide bi-weekly project status updates relative to task and milestone completion, risk/opportunity potential
- Manage the procurement of equipment and material necessary to execute the project
- Lead the coordination of internal and external resources for project execution with support from supervisor
Requirements
- Prefer degreed Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineer
- 2+ years Project Management experience in the water purification or manufacturing industries preferred
- Experience in Project Management processes
- Project Management Certification will be encouraged within twelve months of hire date (PMP Certification)
