About the role

  • Content & Marketplace Operations Manager at Xsolla overseeing marketplace operations and content management for platforms. Engaging with cross-functional teams to optimize digital merchandising and live operations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the content and placement plan across x.la and Xsolla Mall homepage and marketplace surfaces, as directed by Marketing, BD, and Product stakeholders.
  • Maintain the operational content programming roadmap, translating strategic priorities from Marketing, BD, and Product into actionable live-ops timelines.
  • Translate launches, campaigns, and partner initiatives into clear marketplace programming for execution.
  • Ensure alignment with leadership on priorities and trade-offs.
  • Manage day-to-day live operations across homepage tiles, featured placements, storefronts, and promotional modules.
  • Maintain content freshness, cadence, and quality across all marketplace surfaces.
  • Coordinate campaign launches and updates, including scheduling, QA, and go-live execution.
  • Work with stakeholders on a content calendar, planning out updates over time.
  • Work closely with Ops and Product teams to execute within existing CMS and tooling constraints.
  • Manage localization of landing pages and promotional assets with regional teams to ensure accurate and market-relevant content delivery.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for marketplace content execution requests from Marketing, BD, and other stakeholders.
  • Consult stakeholders to understand operational objectives, then own prioritization and sequencing of live-ops content.
  • Proactively flag conflicts, capacity risks, and trade-offs, ensuring leadership alignment.
  • Provide operational tracking for live content, reporting on immediate performance indicators such as CTR and engagement, platform health (freshness, utilization).
  • Partner with data and ops teams to ensure content performance dashboards are available and actionable for live-ops decisions.
  • Implement content and placement optimizations based on performance insights and marketing strategy.
  • Support experimentation efforts (e.g. placement testing, A/B tests where feasible).
  • Support x.la’s evolution into a scalable ecosystem of partner, brand, influencer, and creator storefront pages.
  • Help define templates, repeatable processes, and operating standards to support scale.
  • Normalize processes across x.la and Xsolla Mall where possible, adapting where necessary.
  • Provide structured feedback to ops and product teams on tooling gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Build up a Content Calendar process to lay out a roadmap for content development.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in content operations, digital merchandising, marketplace operations, or similar roles.
  • Experience managing homepage or platform content, content calendars, or live digital surfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI tools and agentic AI workflows (LLMs, AI agents, automation platforms) to content operations — not just familiarity, but practical integration into day-to-day work.
  • Ability to identify repetitive operational processes and design AI-driven automations (including autonomous or semi-autonomous agents) to improve speed, consistency, and scale.
  • Comfort working with evolving AI tooling; willingness to experiment with and iterate on AI agents and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Comfortable working in evolving systems and building processes where tools are still maturing.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to guide decisions.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, project tracking tools, and dashboards.
  • Nice to Have (AI Automation Skills)
  • Experience building agentic workflows using tools such as Claude, n8n, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with connecting AI tools to operational systems (CMS, project management, communication platforms) for end-to-end automation.
  • Track record of reducing manual operational overhead through AI-assisted processes.
