About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the Núcleo Docente Estruturante (NDE) for all undergraduate Financial Markets and Tech programs: participate in meetings, review agendas, provide technical contributions and follow-ups.
  • Serve as a member of the Academic Council for all undergraduate Financial Markets and Tech programs, ensuring active participation and support for academic decisions.
  • Teach 2 classes per month (undergraduate or postgraduate), including lesson planning, delivery and pedagogical alignment (syllabus, learning objectives, bibliography and assessment).
  • Lead the Research and Scientific Initiation Unit, establishing governance, calendar, rituals, project selection flow and monitoring of execution.
  • Promote and coordinate a recurring scientific initiation cycle, including calls for proposals, selection, supervision, evaluation and presentation of results.
  • Support the coordination in producing the academic and organizational evidence required for quality and regulatory processes (where applicable).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Master's degree and PhD in the area (or strongly aligned with the scope of the role).
  • Proven experience teaching in higher education (undergraduate and/or postgraduate).
  • Experience with NDE, Academic Council and/or academic-regulatory routines (preferably with formal participation).
  • Academic leadership ability: structuring processes, facilitating rituals and managing cross-functional schedules.
  • **Technical competencies:**
  • Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Slides/Drive): Intermediate
  • Videoconferencing tool (Zoom/Teams/Meet): Intermediate
  • LMS/VLE (e.g., Moodle/Canvas or equivalent): Intermediate
  • **Desirable but not mandatory:**
  • Relevant academic publications (articles, book chapters, conference papers).
  • Previous experience leading research groups and supervising final projects/Scientific Initiation/monographs.
  • Knowledge of applied research methodologies and technical-technological production.
  • Experience in courses at the intersection of Financial Markets and/or Tech.
