About the role
- Senior SAP HCM Developer focusing on payroll processes for a young agile IT consultancy. Collaborating in teams to improve processes in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and maintenance of payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and tables to ensure legally compliant payroll processing
- Perform customizing activities for payroll-relevant processes, including posting settings and communication with authorities (tax & social security)
- Request and import tax and social security certificates
- Analyze and implement collective bargaining, legal and and company-specific requirements
- Create technical documentation in the IT-HR domain
- Collaborate with developers and the Product Owner using agile methods to ensure continuous product development
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration – alternatively, completed training as an IT specialist for application development
- Initial experience in the SAP HCM environment, particularly in payroll
- Ideally, experience working in agile projects and familiarity with agile methods and rituals
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Team player mentality, initiative, and a proactive work style
- German language skills of at least C1 and English language skills of at least B2 are mandatory
