About the role
- Principal Engineer managing consultants for engineering and design services in substation projects. Involves project management and technical advisorship to clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Managing all consultants performing engineering and design professional services for Substation projects
- Spending time on the highest priority tasks to ensure all assigned projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule parameters
- Technical project management or project lead for assigned substation projects
- Serving as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs
- Acting as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications
- Leading multiple critical and/or complex projects
Requirements
- Required bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited curriculum, electrical or civil engineering degree preferred
- 9+ years relevant engineering experience with PE (Professional Engineer) registration required; 15+ years relevant engineering experience without PE
- Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization
