- Performs advanced follow-up on insurance billing and collection activities
- Makes collection calls and verifies the accuracy and completeness of insurance records and claims

- Reviews patient accounts for accuracy of information including insurance, eligibility, and invoice resolution
- Utilizes Epic system tools and payer websites for claim submission, claim status, and eligibility inquiries
- Interacts with management and staff members to discuss issues
- Assists with training new staff and special projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
- 3 years of experience in Billing or Insurance
- Certifications / Professional Licenses: No specific certification/professional license is required
