Responsibilities
Process online documents in Workday, such as purchase orders, change orders, supplier invoice requests, expense reports, internal service delivery documents, supplier invoices, journals, and cash sales deposits
Ensure expenditures follow policy and are accurately entered and approved
Serve as a primary point of contact and resource for assistance with finance services
Act as liaison between the department, suppliers, and central area functions such as Accounts Payable, Resource Management, and General Accounting
Assist with analysis of department revenue and expenditures and preparation of financial reports as assigned
Monitor account balances, maintains open encumbrances, and processes journals as needed
Assist with fiscal year end close
Continually look for opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy of transactions
Provide feedback on UA financial processes and systems
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
3 Years of experience in Accounting, Business, Administrative Support
Previous experience in a university setting is preferred
