- Wundmanager providing professional care for patients in home healthcare with chronic wounds. Engaging in patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams for optimal wound management.
Responsibilities
- Professional care for chronic and/or hard-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Counseling, support and education of patients and their families
- Close collaboration with other professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient treatment
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Managing and expanding the existing client base
- Compliance with legal regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a Registered Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, Geriatric Nurse or Nursing Specialist
- Work experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
- Completed further training as a wound care specialist or willingness to undertake such training
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patients' needs
- A reliable and responsible working style
- Valid Class B driving license (car)
