Software Engineer developing in-cabin monitoring software for driverless vehicles at Woven by Toyota. Collaborating on software evaluation and improvement for next-gen autonomous mobility solutions.
Responsibilities
Develop the software for in-cabin monitoring with matlab/simulink
Evaluate image recognition software and identify improvement areas
Understand human behaviors while driving and develop corresponding behavior detection technologies
Provide a product owner with technical assistance to define product roadmap
Collaborate with other developers and contractors in managing software implementation
Come to the office 3 days per week per our hybrid work policy, and report to the manager in charge of IMS development
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher
Business level proficiency in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT-N1) and conversational English (TOEIC score of 600 or higher)
At least 3 years experience in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C, C++, or other major programming languages
Experience in evaluation of image recognition systems, human sensing systems, or any other related products in the industry
Experience in human-centric development using qualitative and/or quantitative methods such as experiments and user studies
