About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop the software for in-cabin monitoring with matlab/simulink
- Evaluate image recognition software and identify improvement areas
- Understand human behaviors while driving and develop corresponding behavior detection technologies
- Provide a product owner with technical assistance to define product roadmap
- Collaborate with other developers and contractors in managing software implementation
- Come to the office 3 days per week per our hybrid work policy, and report to the manager in charge of IMS development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Business level proficiency in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT-N1) and conversational English (TOEIC score of 600 or higher)
- At least 3 years experience in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C, C++, or other major programming languages
- Experience in evaluation of image recognition systems, human sensing systems, or any other related products in the industry
- Experience in human-centric development using qualitative and/or quantitative methods such as experiments and user studies
