Presales Solution Consultant for HCM at Fortune 500 AI platform company. Driving sales through expertise and relationship building with HCM prospects.
Responsibilities
Opportunity support activity to prospective HCM prospects and customers
Participating in discovery workshops with users to formulate and document business requirements, including business processes, procedures and work practices
Assisting in the development of winning and differentiating value propositions and themes/messaging to customers, in collaboration with the sales team
Developing and championing Workday-based solutions to client problems, communicating them with the customer, implementation partners and internal stakeholders
Leading RFP/RFI responses and develop solution overviews that map customer’s business initiatives to the Workday solution
Preparing for and conducting winning demonstrations of the Workday solution to create impact in customer evaluation processes; demonstrating to the value proposition and customer expectations
Building expertise in specific industries and presenting the value of Workday solutions to customers in those industries
Building trusted-advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders who are influencers and decision-makers in an evaluation process
Researching and highlighting the advantages of the Workday product and capability over legacy ERP/HCM and other SaaS systems
Articulating the value of AI/ML (conventional, Generative and agentic) in HCM SaaS solutions
Continuously upgrading your skillsets and knowledge through the learning opportunities provided by Workday
Requirements
10+ years in Presales and/or Services Consulting or other technical roles with sufficient levels of experience in the India region
3+ years’ experience in HCM systems and/or processes
Strong understanding of the HR Management functional areas such as Talent Acquisition and Management, Performance Management, Benefits, Compensation etc.
Exposure to SaaS HR solutions from Workday, Oracle and SAP would be an advantage
Knowledge of Generative and Agentic AI as applied to the HR domain and experience in positioning embedded or built-on-AI solutions to business and technology stakeholders
Strong orientation towards articulating the value of AI-driven solutions
Ability to lead solutioning efforts with team members and/or Workday partners, to design and position comprehensive legacy-ERP replacement solutions
Experience in engagements with medium-sized and large enterprises in India cutting across one or more of the following industries - FSI, Pharmaceuticals, Professional and Business Services, eCommerce and high-tech services, Manufacturing, Retail etc.
Ability to hold engage and create impact in C-level customer engagement (especially to the office of the CHRO and CIO), with ability to communicate influentially and eventually develop a trusted-advisor relationship
