Responsibilities
Work at a centre of technical excellence for an international company which leads and supports projects executed across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering challenges.
Gain exposure to multiple stages of the project lifecycle, developing practical, hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers.
Assist in civil engineering site selection, geotechnical and foundation design engineering, infrastructure development, and other relevant tasks.
Contribute to Wood’s expanding portfolio of energy transition and low‑carbon developments, including carbon capture and hydrogen projects.
Requirements
Minimum 2:1 degree to MEng level in Civil Engineering, or related discipline, which must be an accredited degree course
A strong interest in industrial based civil and structural engineering
Enthusiasm to work and develop your career in the energy sector.
Demonstrate initiative, tenacity and excellent communication skills
Possess an ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to match business requirements
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments
Must have the right to work in the UK
