About the role
- Seeking a Steel Structure Design Engineer for Power & Industrial business with hybrid work in Madrid. Requires extensive experience in Power Plants industry and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform the function of Structural Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants Boiler´s steel structure and non-pressure parts.
- Performs technical calculations and technical reports.
- Prepares technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to the technical calculations performed.
- Check, comment, and approval of Steel structure and Non pressure parts shop drawings.
Requirements
- Structural Engineering or equivalent
- More than 10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects (design and calculation)
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills
- Knowledge of Spanish, European and International Standards and Codes ( EuroCodes, AISC, ASCE 7, etc.)
- Advanced user of StaadPro and Idea Connection
- User experience of TEKLA structures
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
- User of NAVIS 3 D Model (Desirable)
- Modelling package experience of TEKLA structures (Desirable)
- Advanced user of Autocad (Desirable)
- Advanced user of Solid works Simulation or ANSYS (Desirable)
