About the role
- Maintenance Materials, Spare Parts and Services Analyst ensuring high-quality material records for reliable maintenance planning at Wood. Based in Docklands, Victoria, Australia in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and maintain the accuracy and compliance of Materials Master Data
- Develop and expand equipment Bills of Material (BOM) to support maintenance activities
- Ensure new materials are properly catalogued and classified according to recognised standards
- Implement and monitor material data updates to maintain consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance planners and procurement teams to ensure material availability and correct specifications
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material data governance and spare parts management
Requirements
- More than 5 years in materials, spare parts, and services management within a CMMS environment
- 10 years in a mechanical, instrumentation, or electrical trade background (or similar) is highly regarded
- Proficient in SAP PM master data management, including functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance plans
- Understanding of change request workflows and compliance with governance standards
- Awareness of reliability engineering concepts and equipment/maintenance strategies
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity principles
- Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with multi-disciplinary internal and external teams
